Okay so basically i know i’m going to give in to Chest White Strips eventually, but i wanna try the natural ways of whitening teeth. Waste of time, or do they kinda work?

Here are some of the remedies i’ve heard:
- back of orange peels to give em nice luster/shine
- bakin soda
- strawberries (crush em and make a paste then apply to teeth and leave it on for about 5 min. Then wash away.)
- eating celary
- since most commercial whitening things are made from hydrogen peroxide you could buy some at a store. Then put it onto a q-tip and apply. But make sure not to get it onto gums, they will become VERY sensative. Then wash it all off. & make sure not to swalow.

Do any of these work?! And if so how long does it take for the results to show, cuz i’m kinda of an impatient person =)

I’ve always had nice white teeth *knock on wood* and I noticed that lately they are looking a little on the dull side. I don’t want to try those at home whitening kits because they do weaken your tooth enamel and your teeth become more prone to sensitivity. I don’t smoke or drink coffee/wine. I also do brush my teeth 2-3 times a day. All tips are welcome and thanks in advance.

I’ve heard of home remedies involving lemons and backing soda. I have lemons in my kitchen, but no baking soda. Could I incorporate that into my brushing in any way? Also, if any answers could specify time it would take to get white, that’d be good.
