The Electric toothbrushes, are advanced in the toothbrush family as they are known to be very efficient in removing plaque without causing too much of bleeding. The electric toothbrushes are battery-operated. The lower base of the toothbrush seems to be large due to the motor. These tooth brushes are also known as rotary toothbrushes due to the oscillating motion they produce while brushing.
These toothbrushes of the family were for the people who have less of motor action and those with braces. The denture toothbrushes are exclusively for the people who have artificial denture fitted. The denture toothbrushes seem to be very efficient to help cleaning the dentures before and after wearing them. While traveling, one can always prefer to carry the single use toothbrushes. These can be used one time and thrown off for recycling.

Generally it is advised that the toothbrushes have to be replaced every three months. For effective removing of the plaque and debris from the teeth, small headed toothbrushes are preferred. The best toothbrush of the whole of the toothbrush family is the one that fits the mouth and allows reaching all the teeth easily for cleaning.
